DRC chief of Staff slammed 20 yrs jail term for $48million dollars embezzlement

Vital Kamerhe is a Congolese politician who is the chief of staff of President Félix Tshisekedi and leader of the Union for the Congolese Nation opposition party. Previously he was the President of the National Assembly of the Democratic Republic of the Congo from 2006 to 2009.

He literally made Tshisekedi the President…through coordinated rigging. He signed an MoU with Tshisekedi that come 2023, he’ll be made President. Naivè.

Today, the Democratic Republic of Congo’s high court found the president’s CoS [Vital Kamerhe] guilty of embezzling $48 million in public funds and sentenced him to 20 years in jail.

Kamerhe backed Tshisekedi in his successful 2018 election campaign in return for Tshisekedi’s support the next time around in 2023.

His arrest on April 8 sent shock waves through the country’s ruling coalition and the nation.

Last week the justice minister revealed that the former presiding judge, who was originally said to have died of a heart attack last month, was actually brutally murdered.

Sounds African, right?
