Cameroon: No To Intoxication Of Students Through Political Propaganda – Jean Paul Mbia

Jean Paul MBIA, Director of Communications in the Ministry of Higher Education, says no to the Intoxification of students through the political propaganda of Barrister Nkongho Felix Agbor-Balla.




In a circular signed this Tuesday May 12, 2020, the director of communication, revisited the saga that unfolded in the University of Buea wherein, Barrister Agbor Balla, a lecturer of political science, was dismissed for setting an exam question on the anglophone crisis.

“As a renowned Barrister at law, this is a lesson, he is better placed to have handed down to his students. No-one has the right to confuse science with propaganda.




Yes to the teaching of science. No to the Intoxication of students through political propaganda”, part of the one-page circular.

In relation to claims that his suspension and subsequently his dismissal was against the law, the Director of Communications in the Ministry of Higher Education, said: “All the rules of the University were scrupulously respected by the Disciplinary Council”.
