Two Cameroon soldiers were killed last night in Afua

Two Cameroon soldiers were killed last night in Afua, a village in Belo Sub Division in northwest cameroon, according to a trusted source.

No group has claimed responsibility for the attack in the area where Ambazonia fighters have been active during this Ambazonia armed conflict.

The attackers reportedly harvested two AK47s and spirited themselves away.

Afua in the Boyo hills is the closest village to Ndawara Tea Estate owned by billionaire business tycoon, Alaji Baba Dandullo.

Belo witnessed one of the earliest confrontations between the Cameroon Defence Forces and the Ambazonia fighters with sporadic gun battles and military raids at the start of the ongoing armed conflict.

The authorities have not commented on this latest atttack. But observers say the area could likely attract a reprisal response frim the army as has happened in previous attacks elsewhere
