Magistrate Dinga Alain, his pregnant wife and entire family perished in a ghastly road accident at Valle Nlongkak in the heart of Yaounde. A truck ran into their Toyota Yaris car, virtually turning it into mangled metal. The young couple were in the company of the magistrate’s father-in-law who also died.
The woman was pregnant. Her husband is the son of the former director of treasury, Dinga Ignatius whose brother is currently lying in a mortuary in Mbouda. The removal of the corpse from Mbouda was supposesd to take place today Saturday. Burial was fixed for Balikimbat after that.
A wake keep took place in Yaounde in Thursday night and the couple couple were very active there serving people. They were returning from the all night event when tragedy stroke. They would have travelled for the Balikumbat burial this weekend. Alas, they travelled into the world beyond.
That makes a toatal of six persons including the unborn child waiting to be buried in a single family.
Meanwhile, the impact of the Ambazonia independence conflict has hit the Dinga family so terribly. The funeral of Mr Dinga Ignatius’ brother should have taken place in their vilage Balikumbat but because of the violence back home, his corpse was kept in Mbouda whilst his wake-keep held in Yaounde.
