The Cameroon Reformation Party(CRP), hereby declare today Tuesday the 19th of November 2019 that they will not be participating in the Municipal and Legislative Elections slated on the 9th of February 2020.
After careful considerations and cross examination of the current political unrest in the two restive North West and South West regions, we have come to a logical conclusion that:
- The elections will not be free and fair
2.We have decided to put the safety of our militants first as there will not be adequate security and their protection on the voting day - Dialogue has failed and the future of Cameroon is looming with uncertainty in the coming weeks and months ahead
4.We will not be participating in an election when people are dying on a daily basis and some have become refugees and internally and externally displaced through out the national territory - And lastly, we will not at this time be doing politics on the blood of the innocent
Thus we hereby put our people first, before our political views and aspirations
