The former Minister of Water and Energy and former Director General of CAMWATER was arrested since March 2018.

The charges levied against him are:

Misappropriation of public funds, co-conspiracy to embezzle public funds and complicity in the estedzzlement of public funds.”

His properties were earlier siezed, some of which are:

–14 luxury cars including Mercedes-Benz classic(Black), Mercedes Benz Class S(Black), Lexus LS460L(Black), Porshe(Black), Toyota Camry. (Seized from his wife.)

-Colossal sum of money in foreign currencies (Euro, US Dollar, Canadian Dollar, Hong Kong Dollar, British Pound, Swiss Franc, Israeli Mint (Shekel) – discovered in vaults Inside his home;

Several bank accounts numbers with hundreds of millions Frs CFA.

Four land titles and other things were also seized.
